Robert “Buddy” Helland – VP & SR. Marketing Manager of The Good News Media Group
Buddy Helland was born and raised in Broward County Florida.
Buddy is VP & SR. Marketing Manager for The Good News Media Group that produces the Largest Christian Newspaper in America with a purpose of sharing The Good News of Jesus with our communities, spotlighting our leading Charities (like CBMC), Foundations & Churches and promoting the business that support that effort.
Prior to the Good News Buddy was owner/operator of BIG Way LLC that had a symbiotic relationship with Kingdom Magic Vacations, Inc. An Internet Travel Agency ranked 4 in the Top Ten for Earmarked Disney Agencies. Buddy was Partner/Executive Vice President of I-Com Genesis, Inc. (Internet Community Beginnings) leading the conceptual design team for “Omega Troopers”, a large-scale multi-user Internet / CD-ROM hybrid application for Christian youth discipleship.
In addition Buddy participated as Co-Chair with Motorola as a member of the “K-12 team” for educational reform in partnership with The Broward Alliance for Broward Days, and a Foster and Adoptive Parent Association Graduate of 4KIDS.
He became a Christian 33 years ago and has attended Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale for 32 of those years with his wonderful Proverbs 31 Wife, Sandi, and their two blessings from God, Daughters Sarah (24) and Makayla (17) who arrived “one from the belly and one from the heart” with a little help from 4KIDS!
