Nurturing Healthy Relationships: 8-Week Workshop Series for Couples Experiencing the Critical Life Stages of Trying to Conceive, Pregnancy & Postpartum

**Wednesdays, September 11 – October 30 @ 7:30 – 8:30pm**

**PLEASE NOTE: The ticket for September 11 at $999 (~125/session) covers all 8 Zoom sessions and there are no individual session tickets available. Only a Sept 11 ticket is needed. If cost is a concern, please email drstephaniesimon@gmail.com**

Join us for this special 8-week workshop series designed for couples who are on the journey of trying to conceive, are currently pregnant, or in the postpartum stage (up to 2 years). This virtual event focuses on maintaining and strengthening relationships during these significant life transitions. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of trying to conceive or fertility, preparing for parenthood, or adjusting to life with a new baby, this workshop series will provide you with valuable insights, evidence-based skills/tools, and support. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with other couples and strengthen your romantic relationship!

What to expect in each group session:

  • Discuss common relationship challenges during these life transitions (your discussion/participation is voluntary, not mandatory!)
  • Learn evidence-based Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) & Gottman Method skills to improve your relationship from trained couples therapists
  • Learn important information about pregnancy, postpartum and parent-infant bonding from a perinatal mental health expert
  • View role-plays between facilitators
  • Practice skills one-on-one with your partner and debrief/navigate obstacles with the group
  • Provide support to others with similar concerns

Goals of the Workshop:

  • Strengthen the trust, safety, reliability, and intimacy in your relationship
  • Prepare for the potential obstacles that may arise at the current or next step in your parenting journey
  • Improve the way you communicate, listen, connect, repair and compromise
  • Increase your confidence as partners, soon to be parents, or co-parents
  • Learn from others and feel less isolated in your relationship concerns
  • Help you maintain relationship satisfaction after having a baby, reduce relationship hostility and increase affection, and promote positive parent-baby interactions
